This position is for full and part time CNA/CMTs for 2nd shift with every other weekend required. The primary purpose of this position is to perform various duties assisting professional nurses in the care of residents in accordance with established policies and procedures of Wood Assisted Living and Givens Estates. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: transporting residents, assisting residents with dressing, toileting and other activities of daily living based upon the care plan; administering medication, maintaining documentation forms etc.  The Preferred candidate will have completed the Certified Nursing Assistant Training course from an approved program, will have current listing with the Division of Facility Services Registry, current CPR/Heimlich maneuver certification, and completed an approved medication administration course with current certification and listing with Division of Facility Services Registry.  Candidate must have the ability to work as a team player and multi-task; must have passed medications within the past 24 months to a minimum of 30 residents on a regular basis and have a valid North Carolina driver’s license.
