The primary purpose of this position is to perform service work to attain sanitary dish washing procedures and cleaning of equipment and to assure that the highest degree of quality care can be provided to our residents at all times. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: organizing and setting up the dish room area, assisting in the assembly and completion of meals, sweeping and mopping the kitchen, etc. The preferred candidate will be, as a minimum, graduated from an approved High School or have received the equivalent with completing a program to receive a GED. Prefer on-the-job four (4) weeks of supervised training. Working knowledge of sanitary standards related to food handling and preparation .Must know or have the ability to handle and operate equipment in assigned area.
