We are a non-profit organization looking for the best, brightest, and friendliest to join our family.  This will be an exempt position, and this team member will help supervise our health center dining team.

The primary purpose of this position is to provide oversight, leadership, coaching, and development to the Dining Services team at Givens’ Health Center (84 Bed Skilled Nursing Facility,) and to ensure the highest quality of dining service for residents, visitors, and staff. This position will ensure that the department is clean, safe and inspection ready at all times.  This position will engage in and develop relationships to effectively provide quality customer service for all constituencies.  This position must be able to develop and execute food production and menu planning in order to meet Givens’ culinary expectations.  This role will also ensure that resident clinical needs are identified, monitored, documented, and addressed’ while ensuring resident directed nutritional needs or preferences are being met.  The position will ensure that all necessary administrative duties are performed as required to ensure the smooth operation of the department.

This position requires strong interpersonal, managerial and leadership skills, with a proven record of culinary and hospitality ability, sanitation and food quality. Computer and basic business skills are also preferred.  This position must be able to work creatively in a fast paced and ever changing environment while providing clear and direct communication. Strong coaching and development skills are desired to work with team members to address the unique needs of healthcare residents. The candidate must have graduated from an accredited High School or GED program. Preferred candidates should be certified in Serve Safe, or comparable food safety/sanitation training. Additional Technical, Vocational, or culinary training is highly desirable. Preference will be given to candidates who have extensive culinary experience, or possess further post-secondary education.
