36-40 hour a week position for a North Carolina RN/LPN with rotating weekends. This position is responsible for performing resident skin assessments, obtaining treatment orders and entering into QuickMar Tar, administering treatments as ordered, implementing preventive measures to improve or maintain skin integrity. Facility policy and procedures will be followed for treatments and wounds. Candidate must be willing to work with consulting Wound Care Nurses and with visiting Wound Physician.
Qualified candidates must possess a minimum of 1 year experience in working with the Geriatric population, preferably in Long Term Care, and a current, unencumbered Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse license for the state of North Carolina or compact state (If nurse resides in North Carolina then a North Carolina Registered Nurse license is mandatory per the North Carolina Board of Nursing). Must practice with prudent nursing judgment with resident care and current nursing practices and procedures.
