The Wood Assisted Living Supervisor is responsible for assisting in planning and directing of all activities of the Wood Assisted Living Dining Room operations and providing supervision to ensure the highest quality of services for the residents, visitors, and staff. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: providing leadership, supervision, and technical guidance to the Dining Services Team; organizing set-up and closing of dining areas; executing dining functions; assisting with interviewing and hiring of staff; scheduling of staff; and ensuring established safety regulations are followed. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, an eye for detail, and be willing to work with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: The preferred candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of previous experience in overseeing dining room/kitchen operations. Preference will be given to a candidate with a hospitality management degree though this is not required. Previous knowledge of employee relations, ethics, sanitation, food safety, food and labor laws is desired. The ideal candidate will be committed to high standards and exceeding customer expectations.
